Jam Recipes – Sweet-Sour Sauce
This is the sauce for the Apricot Chicken Pot Stickers. It can also be used for any other recipe calling for Sweet – Sour Sauce.
Sweet – Sour Sauce
1 1/2 cup apricot pineapple jam
1 cup chicken broth
1/2 cup vinegar
2 tsp. soy sauce
1/2 green pepper, coarsely chopped
Take jam, chicken broth, vinegar, soy and mix until smooth. Stirring twice, cook on high 7-8 minutes until smooth and thickened. Stir in green peppers. Serve over meatballs or other dishes. Makes about 2 1/2 cups.
